On an early basis, Meadowbrook hosts a food packing event for Kids Against Hunger. This is a wonderful activity for people of all ages. Stations are set up around Fellowship Hall, every person is given a simple task, and the result is approximately 10,000 meals! A third of the meals are sent internationally, a third are sent to our local food banks, and the final third is set aside for emergency response.
After the packing event, all are invited to share in a soup lunch.
