Michele Fecht – Office Manager

Michele Fecht has been the Office Manager at Meadowbrook since December 2020. She is a longtime journalist having worked for The Northville Record, The Detroit News, The Chicago Tribune, and other publications. She is a regular contributor to The ‘Ville magazine in Northville and The Rock in Plymouth.

A native of Birmingham, Michigan, Michele is a graduate of Michigan State University. She lives in downtown Northville and has two adult children, Clara and David.

She enjoys reading, theater, history (writing about it and reading it), and travel.

Colleen Foster – Director of Christian Education

Colleen Foster has been the Director of Christian Education at Meadowbrook since 2006. Prior to becoming the Director, she served on the Board of Christian Education and volunteered as Church School Superintendent.

Colleen lives in Novi with her husband Scott and their pup Romeo. She has two adult children, Sherilyn and Harrison.

Colleen received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Madonna University. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses, Freeway and Beemer, as well as reading and knitting.

Dave Howland, Organist/Piano Accompanist

Dave Howland began as Meadowbrook Congregational Church’s Organist/Piano Accompanist in 2020. Prior to working here, Dave served as the Music Director for other churches, including Detroit’s historic Metropolitan United Methodist Church. Dave now works as a freelance piano accompanist and instructor and writes choral and instrumental arrangements for hire.

Dave is a graduate of the University of Michigan and lives in Novi with his husband Ken and their son John. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family and cheering for his son at hockey and football games.

Danny Reeves, Director of Music

Danny Reeves has been serving Meadowbrook Congregational Church since August 2019. Danny has served in music ministry since he was eighteen, as a substitute pianist for his home church. He has worked as a choir director and organist for a variety of churches before coming to Meadowbrook.

During the week, Danny teaches Middle School Choir and General Music in Fraser Public Schools. There, he directs multiple choral ensembles and helps with directing school musicals. He also has performed with the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale. Danny graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and is currently obtaining a graduate certificate in church music at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia.

In his free time, Danny enjoys reading, walking, and cooking.
